Brow Henna vs Eyebrow Tint - from an Organic Facialist's point of view

I am bloody excited, WHY? because I love doing people's eyebrows and next week I will be attending a Brow Henna Masterclass to learn from the Masters, Irina Levchuk & Natalia Krasnoperova all the way from Russia.

Never heard of them? Well to be honest, neither had I until I decided to do a little research on a more natural, less toxic and longer lasting brow tint for my clients.

Some of my best clients admit to me about having 'eyebrow problems' in the past, so I listed common problems that come up time and time again with tinting.

a) it doesn't last as long as they want it to,

b) the ends/tail of the brow fades quicker,

c) the colour may not be quite right sometimes or WAAAAY too dark which has put them off ever doing it again,

d) getting lots of skin stained that just looks like a blobby mess,

e) getting a new shape that 'the therapist' think looks good that looks SO wrong.

and the list goes on...

I know it's a first world problem but these are the things that sit above our eyes so its super important to get it right if we want great brows. Working with someone you trust who will listen to exactly what you want and what you don't want is gold. That's why I take my time with clients to understand and listen to their requirements. Anyhow I digress.

So I did lots of research to find some great teachers to take my brow game to the next level and Voila! Its happening next week.

What is Henna Brows?

Here's a super quick history lesson. Henna is a natural dye made from an ancient plant that has a rich history of being used for cosmetic colouring purposes spanning thousands of years. Today Henna has gained popularity for eyebrow colouring and Brow Henna is a bestseller. It not only gives the eyebrows stunning definition and vibrant colour, but also helps restore weak and damaged hairs.

Henna Brows is a game changer as its a more natural alternative and lasts much longer than your average brow tint. It contains no hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, special oxidisers or sealants.

So Ladies, I will be keeping you all updated on my henna brows on instagram and Facebook
